Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated civil litigation defense attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal support in civil litigation cases, working closely with senior attorneys to manage cases from inception to resolution. The Associate Attorney will have the opportunity to develop their legal skills while contributing to our commitment to client service and legal excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Participate in depositions, court appearances, and negotiations.
Draft legal briefs and correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
Stay updated on developments in civil litigation law and regulations.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed California Attorney in good standing.
Experience in civil litigation, preferably in a defense capacity.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
