Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as first chair trial attorney in high-value personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injury claims
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, motions, and trial prep
  • Represent clients in court, including jury selection, direct/cross, and closing arguments
  • Negotiate settlements to maximize client recovery
  • Draft and review pleadings, discovery, and pretrial documents
  • Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and legal guidance

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Demonstrated experience in settlement negotiation and trial advocacy.
  • Must have first-chair trial experience, with a history of leading cases through verdict.
