Position Overview
The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements and managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while providing exceptional service. This role requires a strong understanding of audit processes and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, including the preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring that all client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in audit.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Experience with tax compliance and regulations, specifically for individuals and partnerships.
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with various tax forms, including 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1040.
  • Experience working with high net worth individuals and understanding their unique financial needs.
