We are currently looking for an experienced Automation Engineer for our location n Lenexa, KS.
The position itself As an Automation Engineer, you will work with all phases of plant service such as troubleshooting, I/O testing, production start-up, SAT and training of customers' employees. As an electrical engineering specialist, you will also be responsible for changes in PLC/SCADA programs and minor panel conversions, just as troubleshooting is a natural part of your area of responsibility.
Customer support via remote online connection
Visit customers for commissioning of small projects and onsite troubleshooting of existing plants
PLC programming, testing, preparation of manuals, etc.
Possibility of developing new process plants in collaboration with the rest of the software group
With reference to Engineering Centre Manager, you will be part of a dynamic and young team with 8 colleagues in the Automation & Controls department.
Who we are looking for To be successful in the job as an Automation Engineer, you meet the following criteria:
You have an educational background as either a marine engineer, programmer, automation technician, electrical engineer or similar.
You have min. 3+ years of experience from a similar role, including working with programming in Rockwell PlantPAx, Studio 5000, Siemens TIA, Step 7.
You thrive on independent tasks and take responsibility for ensuring progress in the tasks.
You are professionally strong and goal-oriented.
You thrive on collaborating with others across your organization and national borders.
