Controls Engineer

Location: Carrollton, GA

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for various industrial applications. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of control solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for industrial automation applications
Program and configure PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate control systems into machinery
Prepare technical documentation and project specifications
Provide technical support for control system installations and maintenance
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control technologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in controls engineering or automation
Proficient in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming
Experience with CAD and AutoCAD for system design
Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
