Title: Calibration Technician - Afternoon Shift

Location: Onsite, San Diego

Compensation: $27/h-$31/h + Overtime eligible + 10-15% performance bonus

Who We Are: We are a premier torque sensor manufacturer for virtually every major race car manufacturer worldwide across all the major series (Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR, Le Mans, etc.). As we continue to grow and bring on new work, we are looking to expand our engineering team!

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calibrating, testing, and maintaining various torque sensors to ensure accuracy and reliability. This role is critical in supporting our quality assurance processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform calibration and testing of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical instruments.
Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for developing and updating calibration procedures and documentation.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair sensors and measurement devices as needed.
Maintain accurate calibration records and generate reports for quality assurance purposes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve calibration processes and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all calibration activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of new calibration techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in calibration and testing of electromechanical equipment.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with sensor technologies and calibration tools.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabView, and MultiLab software highly preferred
Experience with motors and torque measurement in motorsport applications is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
