The Controls and Instrumentation Engineer is a multifaceted position responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of control systems and instruments used in manufacturing and process operations. The successful candidate must have a strong background in electrical, controls, instrumentation, and process engineering, as well as a keen understanding of 5S, Six Sigma, NFPA, ANSI, ASTM, ISA, API, Root Cause Failure Mode Analysis, PM Programs, Reliability, and EHS practices.
Position Overview:This position is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure that all control systems and instruments are functioning properly within the manufacturing process. The Controls and Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and optimizing systems and instruments to create a safe and efficient workplace.
