We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Marketing and Business Development to promote our advanced, world-technology products and drive new business development for the product line globally.
Key Responsibilities:
-The Director shall be responsible for generating leads, developing new opportunities, that produces business growth. This work shall have particular emphasis for developing and executing methods to generate additional, profitable revenue.
-The Director shall nurture relationships with key clients, develop new relationships, and expand the brand's presence. The responsibilities include tracking new trends, making product recommendations, and be a driving contributor to our long-term growth.
-Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services.
-Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
-Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies and promotional programs to drive product interest and sales.
-Hold regular meetings with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard.
-Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed and providing post-event reports and analysis.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
-MBA preferred.
-10 to 20 years of directly applicable experience.
-Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns.
-Excellent leadership, communication, managerial, and decision-making skills.
-Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
-Proven ability to understand complex equipment applications and clearly market them.
-The position requires a versatile professional with experience in website search optimization to include SEO and SEM tools, as well as pay per click advertising.
-Multifaceted individual with outstanding communication, team building, planning skills, who also possess, strong supervisory, solid interpersonal/management capabilities, effective organizational abilities and exceptional presentation skills.
-A track-record that demonstrates success of working in the technology field.
-Demonstrated history as a productive, innovative manager, with success in a small business environment.
-Demonstrated ability to listen to customers' needs, develop solutions to meet their requirements, trust and respect.
-Established ability to transform into market leader position through building relationships, and identifying new product opportunities aligned with the technology.
-Strong strategic planning and business market intelligence capabilities.
-Ability to combine extensive knowledge of emerging technologies with broad organizational focus, assimilate knowledge of company technology products, applications and manufacturing capabilities.
-Capability to quickly grasp new technological concepts and convey their value to clients.
-Advanced knowledge of modern marketing management, brand management, distribution channels, product planning and sales forecast principles, methods and practices.
-This position requires a driven, enthusiastic individual with strong business analysis skills, proven marketing experience and the ability to work with a diverse group of associates in a high-tech business.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. An enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding and exciting emerging technology environment is crucial. Strong work ethic and team player attributes are paramount.
