Job Title: EHS Manager
Location: Carrollton, TX
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE
Based in Carrollton, is a market-leading private label supplier of food storage and waste products. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are in need of hiring for a EHS Manager that possesses strong experience with air permitting, OSHA 30, internal audit, EPA, and manufacturing
Responsibilities:
Support the creation and execution of environmental and safety policies, practices, and initiatives.
Keep up-to-date written programs that are mandated by OSHA and the EPA, and create and deliver training as needed.
In charge of overseeing the reporting and inquiries into any possible incidents involving injuries, accidents, or safety.
In order to strengthen and promote the company's safety culture, oversee the environmental and safety training that is required.
Create and implement programs, policies, and procedures to identify and support best practices
Establish and maintain reporting, assessments, training programs, guidance, and lines of contact with plant management.
Monitor all Health & Safety programs including but not limited to: EAP, Confined Space, Haz Com, Hearing Conservation, LOTO, PPE, Bloodborne Pathogens, and driver safety.
Evaluates environmental test results/inspections and makes recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agency requirements/permits.
Collaborate with the Corporate Environmental Health and Safety divisions to give the engineering firms or contractors project implementation guidance that is prioritized and supported by technical know-how.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing industry
Experience with air permitting, regulatory compliance, and audit
OSHA 30 required
Strong understanding of EPA, DOT, and OSHA compliance
Industrial hygiene is preferred
ASP/CSP is preferred
