We're an electrical contractor that has quickly established itself in the Los Angeles area and continued to grow steadily since our inception. We've hit our stride with numerous multi-family projects coming down the Pike and we're looking for a seasoned Foreman to help lead these projects through to a successful completion from the field. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction and systems, as well as experience in electrical contracting. The primary responsibility of the Electrical Foreman will be to oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of electricians, ensuring that they have the resources, materials, and information needed to complete projects on time and within budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings to plan and coordinate electrical installations- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals and timelines are met
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and make necessary adjustments to plans
- Install, maintain, and repair various electrical systems and equipment as needed- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of project progress, materials used, and labor costs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction and systems
- Previous experience as a foreman or supervisor in a similar role
- Thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience in multi-family ground-up and TI construction projects a big plus!
