Job Title: Project Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000
My client is a top GC in Texas who are looking to add to their growing organization. We are looking for a skilled commercial estimator to join our San Antonio office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of commercial construction estimating experience. If that sounds like you, lets connect.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Support subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes.
Process RFPs, RFQs, and internal pricing requests, and announce bidding opportunities.
Draft, review, and deliver proposals for private and public projects.
Coordinate contributions from Project Managers, Marketing, and administrative staff for proposals.
Qualify sub-tier bids and ensure compliance with bidding regulations.
Develop and execute presentations and proposals for clients.
Manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadline objectives.
Operate and maintain proficiency in internal estimating systems and software.
Implement quality assurance controls in estimating and report changes to senior management.
Identify strategic opportunities within proposals to optimize project success.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
Minimum of three years of construction estimating experience preferably on commercial projects.
Proficiency in construction estimating software.
Strong written, verbal, numerical, and analytical skills.
Ability to work with external clients and demonstrate commercial awareness.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Familiarity with cost control methods and project management principles.
Knowledge of research and data analysis methods.
