Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation. This position involves representing clients in various employment-related disputes and providing expert legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in labor and employment litigation cases in state and federal courts.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases and provide strategic advice.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes effectively.
  • Advise clients on compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case management.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law with a focus on litigation.
  • Strong understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Defensive litigation experience is preferred.
