We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our Manufacturing facility in Bakersfield, CA!

Who you are:
Extensive experience with CNC machines including programming, set-up, fixturing and operational experience required.
Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor CAD
Manual Machining experience is a plus.
Experience or willingness to learn Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
Extensive mechanical background is essential.
What you will be doing:
Set a positive team atmosphere, demonstrate strong leadership skills and communicate professionally and positively with all team members.
Coordinating with Material Coordinators and Engineering, review and communicate production requirements as necessary to ensure on time delivery of manufactured jobs.
Ensure all procedures and processes are being followed and tasks are completed as committed to customers. Communicate to the appropriate team members when obstacles are encountered.
Continuous Improvement activities to include but not limited to, Lean Manufacturing fundamentals, creating manufacturing efficiencies, reducing set-up, cycle times, and process in our CNC machining areas
Offer suggestions on how we can increase our manufacturing capabilities and capacities within all manufacturing locations.
Collaborate with our quality team / managers to implement a quality program in our manufacturing facilities.
Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
Respond quickly and positively with resolution to customer issues and requests.
Report departments performance to Director of Systems on a regular cadence.
Suggest new hires, train and develop staff.
Address and resolve personnel issues. Collaborate with Director of Systems and HR as needed.
Responsible for coordinating service and maintenance of all production machinery / equipment.
Ensure all required paperwork is completed and transmitted in a timely manner.
Conduct annual employee performance reviews.
Complete forklift/safety orientation course(s) and operate forklift as needed.
Conduct safety training as directed by the Safety Director and / or Quality Manager.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
Comply with and enforce all company rules, safety regulations, policies and procedures.
