Position Overview
The Process Engineer - Backend will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes for backend wafer processing. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality output and efficiency in wafer processing techniques, while also supporting product development and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize backend wafer processing techniques including scribe and break methods.
Conduct wafer mounting, cleaning, die pick, expansion and thickness verification processes to ensure product quality.
Implement automated optical inspection processes to enhance production efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve processing issues.
Maintain clean room standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations during wafer processing operations.
Support the development and qualification of new equipment and processes for GAAS and InP materials & substrates.
Perform wafer mounting, cleaning and die pick operations as part of the backend processing flow.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in semiconductor backend processing or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience with things like process development, control including scribe, break, expansion, wafer cleaning / processing, mounting, thickness verification, die pick, etc.
Knowledge of clean room protocols and experience working in a controlled environment.
Familiarity with automated optical inspection systems and related technologies.
Eyelit, MS office experience
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
