Project Engineer

Location: Oakland, CA

Pay - 130k-180k depending on experience

We are a Environmental contractor that focuses on large scale Demolition/Abatement/Remediation projects throughout the Bay Area. As we expand our team, we are looking for a Project Engineer that has worked for another similar contractor to join.

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to lead and manage engineering projects from conception through execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure project success while adhering to budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project specifications and execution strategies.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and any issues that arise.
Assist in the evaluation of contractor performance and manage contract compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or engineering roles, preferably in abatement, demolition, or remediation projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
