Now Hiring: Onsite Construction Project Manager - Richmond, VA
Are you an experienced construction professional ready to take on large-scale infrastructure projects? We're looking for a full-time Onsite Construction Project Manager in Richmond, VA, to lead and oversee construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
Oversee all aspects of drilling and blasting, water main installation, paving and sidewalks, sewer systems, erosion control, excavation, and grading
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to meet project specifications
Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, while maintaining budgetary control
Develop and oversee project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases
Monitor inventory levels and procure materials as needed
Hire and manage contractors and on-site personnel, providing leadership and guidance
Track project progress, generate reports, and address challenges proactively
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards
Location: Must be available to work onsite in Richmond, VA
Experience: Proven track record in construction project management, specifically in drilling and blasting, water main installation, paving, sidewalks, sewer, erosion control, excavation, and grading
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles
Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures
Proficiency in MS Office and construction/project management software
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
