Real Estate Paralegal Opportunity!

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 Base Salary (based on years of experience) + Bonuses + PTO/401k matching and other Comprehensive Benefits!

Our Client, a highly regarded commercial real estate law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal with preferred expertise in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys on a variety of high-level commercial real estate matters in a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Preparing and revising due diligence checklists.
Conducting comprehensive title and survey reviews, drafting synopses, and creating objection letters.
Drafting and reviewing real estate transaction documents such as leases, loan documents, deeds, and related conveyance documents.
Drafting and reviewing organizational documents.
Conducting UCC judgment and lien searches and providing clear, concise summaries.
Collaborating with clients and business partners to facilitate due diligence, closings, and funding.
Organizing, distributing, and compiling signature pages for real estate closings.
Handling electronic and paper recordings of essential documents.
Managing the preparation and distribution of closing binders and other post-closing deliverables.
Supporting attorneys and undertaking additional responsibilities as needed to meet the firm's goals.

Qualifications & Experience

4+ years of experience as a Paralegal with Real Estate experience; Commercial Real Estate experience is highly desired
ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate is highly desired
Experience drafting, reviewing, and revising real estate transaction documents, including leases and loan documents, deed and related conveyance documents.
Survey and Title experience is highly desired
