Sr. Audit Manager
Position Overview
The Sr. Audit Manager will oversee and manage the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and providing strategic insights to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to execution and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for audit-related inquiries.
- Prepare and present audit findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting audit practices.
Qualifications
- CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Senior Audit Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
- Experience in the Life Sciences sector is a HUGE plus.
- Familiarity with complex debt instruments and SEC assurance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
