Position Overview:The Commercial Superintendent for Automotive & K-12 Projects is responsible for overseeing the construction of automotive and K-12 facilities, ensuring that all projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in both K-12 and higher education projects, as well as strong superintendent and commercial construction skills.Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and timelines- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure project goals are met- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies- Review and approve project plans and specifications, identify potential issues, and make necessary adjustments- Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site construction teams, ensuring efficient and effective project execution- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure project quality and safety standards are metQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with specific experience in both automotive and K-12 projects- Proven experience as a superintendent, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications- Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance- Proficient in project management software and tools- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
