Title: Yard Mechanic - Hydraulic Piling Equipment Manufacturer
Location: Laurel, DE 19956
Hourly: $35 - $45 / Hour + Overtime + RELOCATION $$

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Founded in 2016 are a 10 employee US based offshoot of a much larger manufacturer of foundation equipment (machines & tools used to build piles & foundations for structures to stabilize heavy machinery). Our division focuses more on the hydraulic piling equipment (we have additional service centers in Finland, Sweden & Australia). For this Yard Mechanic position we are looking for someone hydraulic & electrically sound who can travel as needed who will be used to beef up our yard support.

What You Will Be Doing

Must be familiar w/ heavy equipment repair & maintenance incl: OSHA regulations
Knowledge of construction equipment incl: transmissions, engines, fuel systems, hydraulics & electrical systems
Read & interpret electrical & hydraulic schematics and manufacturer written service manuals
Troubleshoot breakdowns & diagnose issues
Operate vehicles & equipment used for diagnostic purposes

What You Need for this Position

3+ years as a field service technician / mechanic is ideal
Previous demonstration of successful mechanic experience
Knowledge of diesel engines (maintenance of them would be ideal)
Must have your own set of tools
2-3 years of experience w/ yellow iron
Welding experience is a plus
Strong hydraulic & electrical background ideal
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to maintain all service related documents
Experience in a foundation industry is a plus
