Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our Miami office. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in commercial litigation and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. We handle a variety of litigation matters such as business disputes, torts, breach of contract, fraud, IP, complex civil litigation, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery.
Prepare for and represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement effective case strategies.
Conduct client interviews, gather relevant facts, and prepare witnesses for depositions and trials.
Draft and argue motions, and oversee trial preparation.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and clear guidance on case developments.
Participate in business development activities, including client relationship management and networking.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor JD degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Florida.
Over 3 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to case management and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
